BACKGROUND IN THE WINE INDUSTRY:
I was given a sales opportunity many years ago with a small wine importing agency. Initially uncertain if I would like the job, it has been the one industry that I have been in the longest and have no intention of leaving. The wine industry is the best combination of constant learning, informing, challenges, sociability, global connections and fun!

MOST MEMORABLE WINE EXPERIENCE:
Harvesting the 2000 vintage of Chateau Mouton Rothschilds for the day and then dinner at Chateau in the evening. Along with fabulous food and wines, the highlight was a magnum of 1975 Mouton Rothschilds they poured with the main course.

BEST DISH YOU CAN COOK
Spinach and ricotta cannelloni with homemade pasta and tomato sauce.

THREE PEOPLE YOU WOULD MOST WANT TO HAVE DINNER WITH, DEAD OR ALIVE:
My mother (who I miss dearly), and (my namesakes) grandmother (Rosa) and great grandmother (Anna) who I did not have the opportunity to get to know!

WHAT’S THE STRANGEST TALENT YOU HAVE:
I have a good colour memory!  If I am shopping for an item and need to match it with something at home, I usually get it exactly right!

MOTTO OR PERSONAL MANTRA:
Love what you do, work hard, and never lose your sense of humour, because Mark Twain said it best with this quote “Humor is mankind’s greatest blessing”
